Nathan's Tshirts!!!
People have been waiting to see Nathan's Tshirts. I took his picture and hired a model to shoot in his shirts. So here they are. We would love any and all feedback positive or negative. Any comments are appreciated. Note that all the shirts are done on both long sleeve and short sleeve except for the Eagle under Sun on pebble. It is only done in the short sleeve version. They are all done on Beefy T Haines Tshirts so they are heavy duty and will last. They are also very soft.
These pictures are the stonewash blue shirt with the Killer Whale design. On the front pocket it reads Native Strength.
This next group is also the Killer Whale but done on a Navy Tshirt:
The next pictures are of the Frog on the Black shirt. The Frog reads Native Legacy in front:
This next one is also the frog but on a light green T:
This one is the Medeek on a Natural colored Tshirt. Natural is exactly that, natural... a bit off white. I love it personally. Both Medeek and Kermode are front images only with no writing:
This next one is the Kermode and is done on the Black Tshirt. The Kermode is called that because of the Kermode bear that is indigenous to Terrace where Nathan grew up. You will note it is the same design as medeek. That is because they are the same except for color. :)
This next one is our Abstract on a Sand colored Tshirt followed by the same design on a gray Tshirt.
The next ones are of the Eagle under Sun images on first the Pebble Tshirt (which only comes in short sleeve) and then in a Chocolate Tshirt (which does come in both long and short sleeve like all the other shirts.)
The shirts should be posted on http://www.WilkersonArt.com in the next week or so. The are available at the galleries listed that carries Nathan's art. If you are unable to get them we can recommend where they can be purchased. As mentioned before - we want all comments that you may have.

I like the photo's where the models are Not looking at the camera. I like that Nathan is modeling his own shirt. I have not looked on Gixton... but when you list it, it would be cool to explain the meaning of each design. For me, I am not familiar with Native American Art..yet if there was something that meant something that I could relate to...I might buy it. Just a thought. I do like the close ups of the design...along with the variety of poses. Loos great.
I wish you well with these tshirts. They're awesome. I like them all. I'm sure you will sell lots of them.
Those look so great!!! I espcially like them when they have the red in them, too.
Have you thought about putting the big pictures on the front of the shirt with just a blank back? It seems like lots of t-shirts just have logos or whatever on the front.
I would like one of the killer whale with some red in it on the front of a sand collored shirt. :)
They are awsome!!!

The site is WilkersonArt.com It showcases Nathan's art. It also gives a legend of the art. Each image tells you what it is and then tells about the history or legend pertaining to the art. Anyone is welcome to print it for their records. If you ever want to know the meaning you can ask and I would tell. Maybe I will showcase each piece on its own here with the meaning.
Mary - Many artists to have the art on front. The Medeek and Kermode are both on the front with no back image. All the others we have so far, are done with the image in back and a small pocket logo. Many people like a more conservative look in front and tend to like the image in back. So it is a matter of preference. I am sure Nathan will have other images in the future with it in front. It all costs money though. :(
Thanks Sharon. We actually do not make any money on the shirts. The prints are where we make our money. We hope to come up with other products that will help us make money too. The shirts are just so people have something more affordable and nice. It is fun to see people wear Nathan's art though!!!
I also like his wearing his own art. :) It is more meaningful in my 2 pennies.
