Brotherly love touches the heart!

Each day Samuel will come to me multiple times... Pull himself up so he can reach Edmond and give him a kiss or 2 or more! He will often get a corner of blankie and wipe any spit up that Edmond may have, very gently and lovingly. I truly marvel at my children from Miriam down to the very newest - and the sibling love they display from day 1! Sure, there are moments when there are tiffs - but in general they don't fight much with each other. I thought that I would be dealing with jealousy as each new child enters our home, but that has yet to be the case with any of them!
Today was the first time I let Samuel actually hold Edmond (with me there of coarse) and Samuel was beaming. He tenderly held his baby brother and just smiled and adored his younger brother. Nothing melts my heart more than these priceless moments!

I know that it is not just Samuel that shows the displays of love and affection. In fact they all do. I think I was mostly nervous for Samuel and his reaction because (besides twins) this is the closest span I have had between children... and I feel that Samuel is still my baby too. Well, he is. Now he gets to share it - and he is doing a fantastic job of that! A mom could not be happier!!!
